khait - country of angels

We all like stories from past and are interested in knowing it from our elders. Though ,the lifestyle of elder generation was totally different than of today. We all live it by listen ing from our grand parents, here is a story that my grandparents tell me about khait parwat in Uttrakhand.

Kahit parwat is located in gamri patti ,village bagodi in Uttrakhand. The story is about  a person named jeetu bagadwal , who was  businessman who dealt in copper. Once he went  to take her sister along with him from her husband' home, Raithla. While he was in Raithla, he went to kundara parwat to discover the beauty of the place . While he was ubserving the beauty of the place he sat & started playing flute. His music attracted the angels of that place. Seeing the angels , jeetu got scared  and started channtting bhairav devta's name. When he opened the eyes frightenedly ,all angels were gone.

Next day ,  he comes to Kundra  parwat again with his cattles,  and again started playing the flute again. This time the angels surrounds him again. As he didn't know that the reason behind it his flute, the angels tells him that they are very fond of his music & tells him to come with them. Jeetu promisses the angels that he would come there definately after he will get his get his ropni done (cultivating rice).

As he was not from Raithla ,& was only there for few days as it was his brother in law's place, he went back to bagodi and didn't come back. After the ropni is over he goes to khait parwat along with his cattle where the angels find him again. As the angels come in front of him ,he looses consciousness & angels takes his soul along with them. It is said angels come to khait parwat till date .  People say it becomes very foggy when angels arrive & take people along with them whenever they see anyone in the woods of khait parwat.

These type of  stories are very intersting & let us live the past in  this modern world, and this is the only to stay connected with your culture in this modern erap
