Varanasi - Travel experience

And here  i come with my new story of old golden days when i used to study in class 12th. I was a shuttler (Badminton player) during my schooling days & also travelled various parts of India for the badminton championships, This story is about my last badminton tournament that was held in varanasi uttarpradesh. (CBSE NATIONAL BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIP )

On the first day of the trip i started off from my home,  met my friends. We were around 7 people from our school & 4 teams from delhi. Soon as the trip was about to began we occupied our seats. We didn't  even get to know when the trip finished as we all were busy playing uno watching movies and doing other stuff. Train stopped and we boarded to the buses of sunbeam lahartara school, where we were supposed to stay. The opening  ceremoney was grand & there we met many of our friends, who were from delhi too. That day when we went to sleep, we got to know that we are going to share our room with uttrakhand's sub junior team, we went to sleep as we were having match the next day.

The next day, from the very first time we started talking & became good friends,  though i was their senior they treated  me as a friend and karan was like brother to me, he discussed every thing that he was going though  & that he had crush on a girl named keertana who was from banglore. She was also competing in the tournament, obviously. He secretly used to follow her & soon also started talking to her as well.

Unfortunately jaycees public school lost in pre quarters (karan's school), & karan's team was unhappy so me & my team cheered them up & told them not to worry is it was their first nationals match. At  evening we played in swings had our dinner & went to sleep.

Every thing was going, in our semifinals we were having a tough match & the team we were going to meet in finals was prettty easier for us to take over.
The match was going intense,  at around 8 points remaining i dived to return the shuttle to the opponent & accidently  slipped. The pain was really horrible, our mentor narendra sir thought we should submit the match but some how i managed to get up & finally won the match somehow.

After some time the body totally cooled down the pain increased but i played the singles match even after narendra sir's disapproval  obviously i lost as i was barely able to stand and the pain grew more after that match. I was taken to a physiotherapist  & he told that the muscle got ruptured i i strictly need rest.

So for the main match that was finals, apparently our team became weaker as i was not playing the match,  but my substitute. He is amay he was very nervous that time as he waa new in our age category,  unfortunately we lost the match but our girls team won the tournament. Closing ceremony took place & we boarded to return home. As bus was about to start,  karan came running towards my window, wished me & gave an artical of a local newspaper that published my photo in it. Karan karan unpinned that article from sunbeam school's notice board, i could see water in his eyes & promised him that we will meet soon.

Jaunsar - The land of witches

Every child is fond of listening to stories, specially if the story is mysterious. When i was a child,  my nanaji used to  tell me stories of many mysterious places in uttrakhand. One of the heated topic on those stories were of jaunsar, a place in uttrakhand where people believe witches exist.  The story, that i remember from my nanaji's side is that once my nanaji's grandfather went to jaunsar for development of roads. Hence he wondered that all the stories from jaunsar were a myth & other engineers were not ready to go there, he got ready for the project of jaunsar. The day he reached jaunsar a cat tried to enter the flat alloted to him, which looked a little bigger than the normal cat. While the cat was trying to enter through the window, he threw wooden photo frame on the cat. He was really terrified by the cat because of it's abnormal size, he had understood that it was one of the witches of jaunsar. The next day when he woke up he noticed that one of the woman in

We all like stories from past and are interested in knowing it from our elders. Though ,the lifestyle of elder generation was totally different than of today. We all live it by listen ing from our grand parents, here is a story that my grandparents tell me about khait parwat in Uttrakhand. Kahit parwat is located in gamri patti ,village bagodi in Uttrakhand. The story is about  a person named jeetu bagadwal , who was  businessman who dealt in copper. Once he went  to take her sister along with him from her husband' home, Raithla. While he was in Raithla, he went to kundara parwat to discover the beauty of the place . While he was ubserving the beauty of the place he sat & started playing flute. His music attracted the angels of that place. Seeing the angels , jeetu got scared  and started channtting bhairav devta's name. When he opened the eyes frightenedly ,all angels were gone. Next day ,  he comes to Kundra  parwat again with his cattles,  and again started playing the f

Kuldhara : The haunted village

Kuldhara is the second most haunted place in india as known by people. It lies in Rajasthan, The state which is famous for its tourism & haunted places.  As no. 1 haunted place in india, the bhangarh fort also lies in it. Although both, bhangarh & kuldhara are considered as the most haunted places in india, they are the tourist spots at day time & are shut down in the evening. Kuldhara village was abandoned around 170 years ago. It is located in jaisalmer district. It was the village of paliwal brahmans. There is a story that deewan of that village used to take higher duties, taxes & used to trouble the people of the village. He fell in love with the daughter of the leader of the village, but the villagers didnt agree to deewan. In return he started torturing the villagers mentally & financially. As a result the whole village abandoned the village,  giving it the curse that no one will ever be able to live in this place. No one knows where the whole village went, it
